these two singles come from my new album with Lord Glacier as pop! titled 'The Abstraction of Squandering Thoughts', due out December 22nd via BearTooth Collective / FilthyBroke Recordings / 42 Conquistadors / Alpha Pup.

this album is kind of dark in my opinion, as we delve into how maddening the world has become, in a surreal and irreal way, abstracting and distancing the negative from us as much as we can and attempting to look at brighter things. if this doesn't feel so bright, I assure you that the next few projects of mine are very bright and sunny. stay tuned for more info on those too, + the rest of the BearTooth Collective's endeavors.

'Book of Dreams' is inspired by William S Burrough's very educational book, and 'Advanced Poetry' is inspired by Amiri Baraka's poetry collection 'Poetry for the Advanced'... they go next to 'Landfills' (found @ filthybroke.bandcamp.com/track/landfills ), an abstraction of living in the Midwest and seeing the 'neatly piled trash' as fellow midwest poet Kevin Young puts it in his poem 'Western Meadowlark'. Frankly trash covers most ports of solace.
