about

PLEASE NOTE: This is the lowest priced project I've done for a long time, as a gift but also to see if you'd consider buying the BearTooth Collective Unity Tape Vol. 1 that released last month. I'm all over it with my family Cunabear, Lady Valore, Virgil Wolfe, and many more members of the BT Crew. The dopest part is, all the money that is being made off of the album goes straight into mutual aid work and donations, so you know it's going to a good place. Think of the tape as an easier way to help people if you don't have reliable sources to help you find people that need help-- Valore has been doing mutual aide work for longer than I've known her, and I've found families and individuals in need through her before, she's always posting. The tape can be found here ( beartoothtapes.bandcamp.com/album/unity-tape-vol-1-f-ck-it-we-ball ) but if your funds are limited to your own bills or you have ways to help people, DO SO!! This music will be here as long as the internet is, plus will be on streaming eventually too.

NOW, TO BUDDHIST ANARCHISM:

In 1969 Gary Snyder would write an essay titled "Buddhist Anarchism" that would be found and read multiple times over by a Jouquin Fox in the years 2021 and 2022, due to the infatuation with the fictionalized Snyder, Japhy Ryder.

His essay talks about the short comings of traditional Buddhism, training for the stand-still, and claims institutionalized Buddhism is purposefully permeating ignorance, which, if you look at the rise of Imperialist Zen in the 1800's and that overtaking of then Traditional Zen, so that the imperialists could easily brainwash their citizens into supporting and fighting for them, sort of has some weight to it? Even more weight considering a good portion of temples and monasteries in America are subsequently forced into a more American tradition, and some participants are looking for just another spiritual or religious experience.
Snyder claims that all this negative is built up due to the institutions we live in, and to be free, one must drop out and communicate with others in similar minds, or friends and family, and permeate the change you want to see.

Zadie Smith talks about the idea of looking into the past, to bring back good events and times, to show that life wasn't always as it is right now.

Both ideas are essential, and both ideas are different sides of the same coin: look back, learn from mistakes. Though, the #1 rule is I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING so if you take any of this as preachy, please know I have no authority over the matter and am just spewing opinion based on what I've learned, just as all writers have done since the ability to print and publish outside one's own country. I can show you how to sit and breath if you ask though.

THE BUDDHIST ANARCHISM EP TAKES ALL OF THIS AND FUNNELS. DAILY ANGER FUELED SITUATIONS, SHAKEN AS ANNOYANCE. LOOKING BACK AT HISTORY FOR BAD AND GOOD ACCOUNTS TO SHOW NOBODY HAS EVER BEEN FULLY GOOD OR BAD, THOUGH THE WORSE TYPES OF PEOPLE DON'T SEEM TO TRY AND CHANGE AT ALL, JUST GO WITH WHAT THEY'VE ALWAYS KNOWN AND WERE RAISED.

(Buddhist Anarchism in this dilute can be taken as a way of thought able to be conjoined with any other religion or spiritual practice, it can be taken as "THIS JOUQUIN KID IS LITERALLY CRAZY", or it can be taken as a paradox. All have some truth to them; all have some false. Conclude for yourself?)
