"Raining Cats & Dogs is the second song from JOUQ this RAY's new double EP 'Up2Us' / 'To be Okay', specifically finding its way onto the first EP, where we find our protagonists RAIL G and Jouquin Fox trying out different umbrella materials to fend off against the storm that they've both been living in. RAIL is battling still battling demons in the mirror and Jouquin finally seeing the buddha balance behind the suffering of the world. There are plenty of dark bars from both rappers, contrasted against an upbeat, bright Iceberg Theory beat, and at this intersection we find a perfect blend of a song that culminates in both Ray and Jouq coming to the same conclusion: life isn't so bad sometimes. Let's find solace in our pets Sylvester the cat and Desi the dog for a few moments.
